fa عمومى General پژوهشي Research <span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"><span style="line-height:normal"><b>Purpose</b>: The aim of the present study is to investigate the role of attachment styles in predicting the intention to marry in healthcare workers working in stressful wards.</span><br> <span style="line-height:normal"><b>Method</b>: The statistical population of the study consisted of single medical staff working in stressful wards in Tehran, from which a sample of 186 people was selected using simple random sampling method. Data collection tools included Collins and Reed&#39;s Adult Attachment Questionnaire and a researcher-made questionnaire based on Robitschek&#39;s (1998) Action Scale for Personal Growth. Multivariate regression statistical method was used to analyze the data.</span><br> <span style="line-height:normal"><b>Findings</b>: The results of the study indicate that there was a relationship between attachment styles and the desire to marry (p < 0.001). Thus, with increasing scores of secure attachment style and ambivalent attachment style, the desire to marry increased. </span><br> <span style="line-height:normal"><b>Conclusion</b>: In stressful work environments, differences in attachment styles can be a significant predictor of attitudes and inclination towards marriage, and paying attention to these variables in mental health promotion programs for healthcare workers can help improve the quality of interpersonal relationships and their emotional decision-making.</span></span></span><br> &nbsp; Attachment styles, Desire to marriage, Medical staff, Stressful wards 0 0 http://intjmi.com/browse.php?a_code=A-10-1-709&slc_lang=fa&sid=1 Atefeh Dorvasshi 10031947532846008481 10031947532846008481 Yes Master of General Psychology, Khorasgan Azad University, Esfahan, Iran.
