The statistical population of the research consisted of all first-year high school students living in Isfahan in the academic year 2022-2023. The sampling method was available, in that 200 students who were willing to participate in the research were selected as the statistical sample group online after completing the World Health Organization Quality of Life (1996), Toronto Emotional Aphasia (1994), Zaker Marital Conflicts (2008), and Baumrind Parenting Styles (1971) questionnaires.

Accordingly, in the first step, alexithymia explained 22% of the variance in quality of life, in the second step, alexithymia and parental conflict explained 28% of the variance in quality of life, and in the third step, alexithymia, parental conflict, and parenting styles explained 33% of the variance in quality of life (P<0.001).
